Visualize a place where a community could come together and see truth and transformation through the visual arts. Picture a place that would be home to one of the most effective Performing Arts complexes in the U.S.
That is the Epicenter for the Arts.
Michelle is the founder and director of the Epicenter for the Arts along with Dance Revolution national tour and Ingredients Dance Company. She and her husband, Alec, have been traveling the country since 2000 imparting to youth and adults the destiny that God has given to them as well as teaching them how to utilize their gifts and talents for a positive purpose and a higher standard. Michelle has been teaching and equipping performing artists since 1990. She has traveled nationwide and abroad performing and teaching. She has appeared on Television, in Print, Industrials, Commercial work, Universal Studios, Disney and more.
Besides speaking at ministry events nationwide, Michelle trains young men and women on a weekly basis in the dance training program Ingredients’. She has written 12 original productions that have been performed throughout the country and have packed out conventions and ministry events. Some of the titles of these Hollywood style productions include ABLAZE, The Gate, Marked, The Ring, The Tree, A.R.K , Red, White, The Visitation, Deserted, The Cast, and Three Gardens. She has been blessed to be married to the man of her dreams since 1998 and has two handsome young boys to add to her treasures…Zander and Brody.
Alec is the co-founder of the Epicenter for the Arts. He has been working full time with the Dance Revolution National Tour since 2004. He holds the titles of Director, business manager, tour manager, events’ coordinator, travel director, DR’s personal truck driver, and the biggest support to his wife Michelle and the DR staff. He is a graduate of Gilford College in North Carolina with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Accounting.
In 1989, he joined the PGA of America, earned his PGA membership in 1992, and continued to compete on several professional tours while at the same time pursuing a business career in the golf industry. After 15 years, Alec felt the call to leave the golf industry behind, and work with Michelle full time in the ministry to see this generation know their full potential and soar into their God-given destiny.
The Epicenter will provide an atmosphere of professionalism and inspiration through many avenues. A highlight of the training process will be the staff at the Epicenter. From full time staff to stellar guest teachers, the Epicenter will be a place of artistry in which teachers will model a spirit of excellence through their character and their giftings!

Wonderful studio where my child not only thrives in dance, but learns the love of Jesus as well!! Super sweet staff who are always very helpful!"

"We are still so glad to be a part of the Epicenter! My daughters love ballet, tap & hiphop! My son loves hiphop & loved dancing ballet with his sister in his "important" role that he danced so proudly. Teachers are so talented! And the whole studio has such a heart for worship throughout their training in dance, acting, singing, instruments & art!"
– Naomi Stoehr
